Jim Hamel as

Gnaarl the Dragonman
1998
Name: Jim Hamel
Birthdate: 8/5/70
Reason you joined the stunt show: Eh, it was something to do in the summer. No, really I got talked into performing again by and old friend.
How many Grueling hours has Craig made you work on the show?: Not as many as he would like.
Favorite Stunt: Any stunt that no one gets hurt. Honestly, we haven't done it yet and I don't want to ruin anything for next year. You'll just have to come watch the show.
What advice would you give someone playing your part?: Drink a lot of water, project your lines, and be ready to Stop drop and roll.
Favorite line from any of the shows: "This is my F'ing show, so what's my F'ing line?!!?"
Favorite fight partner in a show: Ann Douglas. You didn't say which show and she's the best fight partner I've ever had the pleasure of working with.
Favorite Character in a movie: Masseur Ichi Zatochi. Watch the movies and you'll know why.
If you were stranded on a desert island with 1 other person, who would you prefer to be with?: My mate, Elmer King.
No, really: Really.
How many articles of clothing would you be wearing?: Are we still talking about the desert island? as few as possible and still be comfortable. ( it could get cold )
If you could have 1 power of a super hero, what would it be?: I don't read enough comic books to answer that question.
Words to live by: In life, there are no dress rehearsals.
Acting / Technical experience: This could get really long. I have been performing since I was 8 years old and I'm almost 29. I love character roles that really allow you to reach into he audience and influence their emotions. I've spent time behind the scenes as well as in front of an audience. I got into stunt work and fight choreography when I was 12 and I was doing Union work (in Texas!) by the time I was 19. All this adds up to an extensive resume' that only impresses casting directors and producers. Behind it all I'm just a typical nice guy that will do anything to help a friend.
Achievements: I have a whole wall of trophies, medals and awards but they mean nothing next to the friends I have.
Any extra tidbits you want to offer: Nope, I think that is enough self-effacing ego boosting for today. Just this last thought, "Seek pleasure in all that you do and each day bring a smile to some one else."
