Name: Jessica Bruce Birthdate: 12-19-1978 Reason you joined the Stunt Show: I’m a glutton for punishment... no really, pirates, swords, explosions, AND dragons... come on who wouldn’t? How many grueling hours has Craig made you work on the show?: Too many, but I’m not complaining it’s a three ring circus with the whole gang together. Favorite Stunt: Chris on the swing arm... hummm I always like the stunts where Chris is in mortal danger... go figure? What advice would you give someone playing your part?: Try not to head butt the rope ladder, it butts back. Favorite Line from any of the shows: Ted’s cackling always cracked me up, it’s not a line but it’s funny and of course all of Chris’ heroic Ah ha’s. Favorite fight partner in a show: Chris of course, nothing gets the blood pumping like smacking around the one you love. Favorite Character From a Movie: Gotta go with Capt. Jack Sparrow, yeah I know but I really dig Johnny Depp in that role. If you were stranded on a desert island with 1 other person, who would you prefer to be with?: Antonio Banderas... no really I would be with Chris and my son William would be there by proxy... sorry Antonio. No, really: If you could bring one luxury item, like in "Survivor", what would you bring?: Surgical tubing so I could create a giant slingshot and lug coconuts at Chris from a distance (he hates coconut) and take shots at passing ships, plus I could make a fun swing for William and snap the snot out of anyone who ticked me off. If you could have 1 power of a super hero, what would it be?: I’m a Mom, I already have super human senses, but I’d gladly swap my super sense of smell for anything else. If you were going to play a superhero in a movie, who would you want to be directed by?: Sam Raimi or Kevin Smith. If you could kick one person's butt on the planet and get away with it, who would it be?: Any number of so called teen role models that are anything but. Words to live by: Embarrassment lasts for a few seconds, regret lasts the rest of your life. And... Failure in people is caused more by lack of determination than lack in talent. Acting/Technical experience: Too much to list... Achievements: If you notice, Retch is unusually potbellied in this 2004 show, no it was not a prosthetic tummy I was pregnant. Officially 7 and a half months pregnant the last weekend. So having William (or Pervis as he is known in the dragon world) is my greatest achievement thus far... that and not maiming Chris in the six years we have been married. Any extra tidbits you want to offer: If you have a baby... get the drugs... epidurals are gooood.
